That family in the north of Ontario bought a baby lion, illegaly, of course. a few weeks ago, they lost it. The city captured it and sent it to a zoo in Quebec. Now, the family is asking for donations to ¨buy¨ the lion back, saying it should be living with his family.

I hate them. Sure, I always wanted a lion when I was a kid...but come on! That lion should be in Africa, not in some redneck backyard, in the fucking snow!!

here's the facebook group ¨Bring Boomer home¨

just had the worst thought to start the day with: how did the dealers get the baby? did they kill the mom?! hope the lion was just born of lions of a zoo or something.

Can they be tamed like dogs as pets or do they become savages?

but seriously, lions were used as pet by royalty since a long time ago...so i guess they can be tame...or maybe they had their claws and teeth removed :S

selfish. those persons don't like animals. they use it for their own pleasure.

in the south of ,france, a few years, a baby lion was used to excite dogs like rothweillers or pitbulls for fights. awful! fortunately SPA ( an association which protects animals) succeeded in saving this poor animal.

btw i've seen some documentary about Hindu Monks taming tigers, and they explained that it's a very difficult task, you have to keep much distance with the animal, or he will try to eat you as soon as he is heavier than you... (which happens quite quickly with tigers, but i don't know if it's the same for lions).
